How to use the Foot Bridge

The following series of videos will help you make the most of your Foot Bridge

Gradual progression at a tolerated load is important. Start with shorter length holds and sets and build up over a number of weeks as you get stronger and more tolerant of the exercise.

Intrinsic Foot Muscle Strengthening

A demonstration using the Foot Bridge by Fasciitis Fighter to perform strengthening of the intrinsic foot muscles. Targeting the small muscles of the foot and arch.

Muscles targeted include:

Abductor Hallucis, Quadratus Plantae, Flexor Hallucis Brevis, Flexor Digitorum Brevis, Adductor Hallucis. Abductor Digiti Minimi, Flexor Digiti Minimi and the Interossei muscles.

Extrinsic Foot Muscle Strengthening

A demonstration using the Foot Bridge by Fasciitis Fighter to perform extrinsic muscle strengthening of the foot and ankle

Muscles targeted include:

Soleus, Gastrocnemius medial and lateral heads, Tibialis Posterior, Extensor Digitorum Longus, Extensor Hallucis Longus, Flexor Digitorum Longus, Flexor Hallucis Longus and Peroneus Longus.
